Zine published by Dashwood made to accompany the artist's exhibition at Helena Anrather, 132 Bowery, New York (July 7 thru August 11, 2023). In her first documented series, Street Casts follows artist Alix Vernet’s process of creating guerilla molds of the building facades and sidewalks of Lower Manhattan. Through ceramic sculpture casts, and photographs, Alix Vernet has developed a process of isolating, replicating, and rearranging material fragments from the built environment to reveal the continually shifting terrain of New York City’s urban fabric.
