"Kids are often navigating situations on their own that their parents are never aware of. This is what makes up a major component of the 1986 movie, River’s Edge, starring Keanu Reeves. As a parent I’m on the other side of the equation, worrying about the welfare of my kid and his friends but still curious about their adventures. I’ve always been drawn to photograph fringe areas like riverbanks and the lawless activity their attract.” –PS
